I Like It when a Plan Comes Together

In recent months I have been receiving emails and phone calls from some aspiring and beginner wedding photographer Manchester begging me for advice on what it takes to become a successful wedding photographer and more importantly what it takes to really make it in the wedding photography field. One of the first questions I ask them is what is their motivation to become a weeding photographer. A lot of them say that they heard from other people in the industry that it’s a really easy way of earning money and they would a slice of the cake. While in most cases it is true that the wedding photography business can be extremely profitable in terms of getting a lot of money for the work it isn’t always as simple as these people think it is . Wedding photography involves artistic talent, human sense, complete mastery of photographic techniques as well as business knowledge and a strong desire to learn and deliver the best to the happy couple that will be celebrating their big day with you.

Looking at the Functions of SAL70300G

The SAL-70300G functions with a superb descriptive power which enables it to pick very minute details of the object of interest. The images it produces are very clear and sharp. The images also have a high degree of contrast. This property is enabled by the blades which line the aperture of the lens. The lens is manufactured to meet the needs of modern photography. In this regard, it is very light in weight and can easily be carried about without any sort of stress.

It is however interesting to note that the weightlessness of the lens can also be largely attributed to the fact that majority of its components were made from plastic. The lens comes with a hood which eliminates the formation of shadows during photography especially in the hand-held position. Another mechanism that aids the removal of shadows is the presence of the image stabilization unit. Its main purpose is to remove blurring and shadow formation.

Excited After Reading a Tamron 10-24mm Review

January 26, 2012 at 12:41 pm • Posted in PhotographyComments Off

The subject matter of my photography primarily includes buildings and other architecture, so when I saw a Tamron 10-24mm review review, I knew this lens would be a valuable addition to my collection of photographic equipment. I ordered one of these third party lenses that comes with a Nikon mounting, but it is also available in mountings for other camera bodies. With standard lenses it is impossible to get the dramatic look that a wide-angle lens gives to photos of buildings. I know that once I have this lens, I will be able to revisit some of my favorite locations and get new photos with a very different feel. The sample photos I have seen online have left me excited about the possibilities this lens has, and while some people have raised concerns about chromatic aberration in their shots, it didn’t look too bad to me. The image clarity and the ability of the lens to provide great shots without distortion is what sold it to me in the end.

The Tokina 16-50mm Lens Performance is a Bit Average

January 1, 2012 at 10:47 am • Posted in PhotographyComments Off

I purchased the Tokina 16-50mm lens to compliment my wide angle that I bought from the same manufacturer. Having used it for a while and being very impressed with the quality, I did not have any qualms about buying another Tokina. However, my experience with this lens makes me think that maybe Tokina could have spent a bit more time refining this one. They definitely did not skimp on the materials this lens was made from, as it feels as sturdy as a rock but when it comes to the technical aspects things are a bit shakier. I tend to end up with a lot of chromatic aberrations while using this lens which isn’t too bad as it is easy to fix afterwards but it is still something they could have done a better job with. Photos also tend to be a bit soft at certain focus lengths and aperture settings so it takes some trial and error to get great shots.

Christmas Shopping for My Grandmother

December 18, 2011 at 7:40 am • Posted in PhotographyComments Off

My grandmother is dear to my heart and I wanted to get her something extra special for Christmas. However, after looking around the mall I was just about to leave when I noticed a stand that sold a variety of unique gift items. The first thing I saw was a 2012 cat calendar. The kitties were so cute and the photos were really large and clear. This was perfect for my grandmother because she absolutely adored cats. The next thing I saw were pet sweaters so I found one for both of her cats. Her cats were fat and lazy so I figured they would like nothing better than to have a warm cozy sweater on them this winter. The last thing I got her was a t-shirt that said “I Love Animals” on the front. It was pink and had a picture of a small child surrounded by a variety of baby animals. I knew she would also like this and my Christmas shopping for her was finished.
